J.P. Morgan appoints head of treasury services for Thailand

J.P. Morgan has appointed Thawee Poonlapmongkol as head of treasury services (TS) for Thailand, wholesale payments.

Poonlapmongkol will report to Christine Tan, head of treasury services for Association of Southeast Asian Nations, wholesale payments, and Chayotid Kridakon, senior country officer for Thailand.

Poonlapmongkol has more than 17 years of experience across sales management and business development in transaction banking.

At J.P. Morgan, Poonlapmongkol will manage and drive the TS business in Thailand, with a focus on prioritising innovation to support clients.

Tan said: “Thawee Poonlapmongkol has extensive experience in transaction banking and we are pleased he has joined the team at J.P. Morgan.”

“With his deep knowledge of the Thai market and clear understanding of treasury needs, we are confident he will be able to support our clients across financial institutions, local corporations and multinational firms.”
